November 2026

4 to 21 November: Croydonites Festival

Wednesday 4 to Saturday 21 November | Theatre, comedy, film and performance | The Front Room, Stanley Arts, Clocktower Cafe and other Croydon venues | Prices, ages and times vary by show.

Explore new performance across Croydon, including work by Hannah Maxwell, Victoria Melody and James Rowland. Most listed shows cost £15, with £12 concessions, while Vincent Gambini's daytime performances are listed at £10 or £8. Check each show's age guidance: the programme ranges from ages twelve and up to adults-only events.

11 November and 9 December: Introduction to Bobbin Lacemaking

Wednesdays 11 November and 9 December, 6pm to 9pm | Beginner craft workshops | Museum of Croydon, Clocktower | £10 for one person or £15 for two, including light refreshments; booking required.

Croydon Lacemakers introduce a different beginner-friendly technique at each monthly session. Materials are supplied, making this an accessible way to try a traditional craft without buying equipment first. Choose the November or December workshop on the museum's booking pages.

17 November: BBC Symphony Orchestra at Fairfield Halls

Tuesday 17 November, 3pm | Classical concert, ages 8+ | Fairfield Halls, Park Lane | Free; around one hour. Tickets are available only from the BBC.

Francisco Coll conducts music by Honegger, Coll and Prokofiev, with pianist Elisabeth Brauss, for a concert recorded for BBC Radio 3. Admission is first come, first served: the BBC issues more tickets than seats to allow for non-attendance, so a ticket does not guarantee entry.

20 and 21 November: Model Railway Weekend

Friday 20 and Saturday 21 November, 11am to 4pm each day | Family activities | Braithwaite Hall, Croydon Town Hall, Katharine Street, CR9 1ET | Free; no booking required.

See miniature Croydon and other model railways at the Clocktower, with Brio among the family activities. The event is organised with Croydon Model Railway Society and offers a hands-on reason to visit the town-centre museum complex.

28 November: The Nutcracker

Saturday 28 November, 7.30pm; doors 7pm | Classical ballet | Fairfield Ashcroft Theatre | Tickets from £45; check the final booking total.

Imperial Classical Ballet presents Tchaikovsky's seasonal ballet with a live orchestra. The published running schedule includes a twenty-minute interval and an approximate 9.20pm finish, useful when planning the journey home. Performance timings may change on the day.

December 2026

3 December: Croydon Vision Christmas Fayre

Thursday 3 December, 1pm to 4pm | Community fair and festive shopping | Bedford Hall, 72 to 74 Wellesley Road, CR0 2AR | Contact the organiser for admission and access details.

Join Croydon Vision for stalls, crafts, gifts, food, drink and entertainment. The local sight-loss charity publishes a direct event contact, Ancella George, for questions about attending or taking part. Admission pricing is not stated on the event page.

4 to 6 December: A Very Croydon Christmas

Friday 4 to Sunday 6 December | Town-centre celebration, shopping and family activities | Katharine Street, High Street, North End, Surrey Street and Clocktower venues | Full programme, times and booking details to be announced.

The weekend starts with an outdoor market on Friday evening, followed by walkabout performers and activities across the town centre. Culture Croydon has confirmed music, crafts and storytelling in the Clocktower and Braithwaite Hall. Check its programme as it develops rather than assuming every activity has the same hours or admission arrangements.

From 11 December: Cinderella at Fairfield Halls

Friday 11 December 2026 to Sunday 3 January 2027 | Family pantomime | Fairfield Ashcroft Theatre | Tickets advertised from £18; times and prices vary. Check transaction charges at booking.

Charlie Guest returns as Buttons alongside Lee Latchford-Evans as Prince Charming and Rachel Grundy as Cinderella. A captioned performance is listed for 21 December and a relaxed performance for 30 December; the latter is advertised at £25 plus a £3 transaction fee. Use the venue's calendar to choose the appropriate show.
